Philadelphia Services Utilization Monitoring System (SUMS)

This project was launched to support the Mayor Ed Rendell's Children and Youth Cabinet's initiative, "Taking Prevention to Scale" and resulted in an innovative social indicators system to track the utilization and/or outcome of children's and families' services. The purpose of SUMS was to promote sound policy, planning and program evaluation for Philadelphia's children and families by making accurate data and easy to use mapping, reporting and charting tools available over the internet.
